The collection contains two typed announcements, with a stamped signature of Penn State president Edwin E. Sparks, notifying the students of the death of Kurt H. Held in his room, 29 November 1909, and suspending classes for Held's memorial services, 30 November 1909. Also, includes a typed note about the death and burial on campus of Agricultural College of Pennsylvania student St. Maurice de Logny Berault, Jr., on 30 August 1867, with information on the location of his gravesite and his photograph.
